This is a fantastic book for those who understand organisational theory and also those who don t I was the latter, but thanks to this book I now have a clear understanding of this interesting subject It proved vital for a module I recently had in Organisational Management and I would strongly reccommend it to anyone studying this or a similar subject.

Mary Jo Hatch has provided an excellent differentiated prospective of organisation theory, with numerous examples to influence a complete understanding of this vast subject Apparently ideal for 2nd and 3rd years, but an excellent introduction in the subject for first years Mary provides an excellent introduction and structure throughout the book, whos aim is to influence you to educate yourself, expand the theories in your mind in order to fully understand and create an opinion of your own Its almost interactive An excellent book which really does influence you to learn and progress for your own interest and not just for your courses.
